Heather Lim

AI Artist, Lecturer at Kookmin University

Hyerin Im is actively engaging as an AI artist under the name ‘Heather Lim.’ Her roles in co-directing Urbanbreak’s The New Canvas of AI, serving as the main AI artist for the Seoul Cafe Show, and participating in other art exhibitions and talks have allowed her to actively promote the integration of generative AI with art to the public. Notably, she designed the first AI magazine cover for Home Living Korea (Design house Korea), marking 34 years since its launch. Im has presented at prestigious AI conferences such as NeurIPS and ICML, and teaches generative AI at Kookmin University. She recently published a book titled Mastering Image Generation AI with MidJourney, and continues her work blending AI and art. She earned her M.S. from KAIST and her B.F.A. from Ewha Womans University in 2023 and 2021, respectively.
